What a difference colour makes

I made this quilt for Meg some 6 or 7 years ago. It is much loved and well worn. I was inspired by a quilt I saw at Anthropolpgie, a great store in the USA.

Several years later I made it in another colour. This is a very simple but effective pattern...a good way to use some stash.

a new cord..yeah!

Over a month ago now, we had our annual retreat to Lancefield. All the gang came along and we had a great time. A little sewing got done by some. Mindy was busy with some applique.

Jane was really productive, this is Joe's quilt and she also finished a top for a wedding present.

Nic got her houses all built, now she just has to finish the picket fence border.

Gayle is enjoying the one and only piece of cake on the property! For all who have asked about this retreat and can never get in I am organising some more dates so stay tuned.

Dearfii was the recipient of this bag. Everyone saved their teeny tiny scraps for her and she will make something fabulous from them.

Christmas is upon us

Some where in my travels I have lost the charger for my camera so it will be a wee while longer before I am able to pop any photos on the blog, but in the mean time we are having some Chrissy Cheer at amitie!!
